But guys can we talk about how sweet and a gentleman Alex was to April? Asking her if she needed anything?

PS im secretly pretending that that was Jackson

Guys, serious question. For how long were Jackson and April married before they got divorced?
Really really scared of next week’s Japril centric episode. I have a strong feeling that April will sign the divorce papers and it’s gonna hurt so so bad

I’m sorry but Meredith’s being an ass about Penny. I’m not fan of Penny but Callie said it right when she said she was being a bully.

Hey! :)
In all honesty, and I’m completely un-biased when I say this, I believe Jackson and April have the most interesting relationship/love story.
They have the whole friends-to-lovers aspect down, but it’s a lot more challenging than that.
(Skipping all those other ships…)
Yes, Alex and Jo both come from troubled backgrounds, but they’re too similar to one another for me to find it any sort of groundbreaking.
Callie and Arizona are losing my interest because they’ve been on a spin for ages and their storyline has never been that compelling to me.
Meredith and Derek had that will-they/won’t-they thing going on for quite some time but aside from that, their storyline isn’t actually all that fresh in my opinion. Guy cheats on wife because he got cheated on, and he falls in love with and marries his mistress. Not that great.
Owen and Cristina take second place for me because they already had baggage when they started. Cristina was still bruised from Burke’s brutal departure and Owen was suffering with PTSD. They were compelling because I wanted to watch them grow, and change, and adapt to one another because they wanted different things out of life. He wants a family, and kids, and a soccer mom as a wife while she wants a career and a safety net. They couldn’t be everything the other needed but they loved each other regardless.
But, yes, to me, Jackson and April have the most interesting romantic relationship.
They weren’t brought on as love interest for any of the characters, as plot devices for each other. They were there, around, being all friendly and occasionally flirty but they weren’t planned since their arrival on the show.
We watched them develop, and we learnt more about them, and only when it got to the point where they were accepted by the fandom, did the show decide “hmm, let’s see what happens if we put them together.”
The result: some great chemistry that had been building over a couple of seasons, an interesting relationship that went through its struggles at first, a love story that unfolded beautifully after started nowhere.
They challenge each other, which is one of the things that I look for in good relationships. They would be boring as hell if they were the same person, if they agreed on everything. No. They’re opposing. Watching an atheist love and cherish a christian is interesting, watching them have to adapt to fit each other that little bit more is entertaining. That’s a good story.
Watching two best friends fall in love and accept each other despite great differences and conflicting views on the world? That, to me, is the greatest love on this show.
Hope this answers your questions :)
honestly, the best explanation as to why Jackson and April are so good together!
Can someone clarify this for me? His latest Instagram post, is it really his tats? I know it sounds stupid of me to ask but he’s been shirtless in Grey’s and in the pic he’s got like at least 3 or so tattoo’s. Does the makeup crew prep his body for shirtless scenes so he doesn’t show any of it?
Sincerely,
An amateur fan
I just spent half an hour going through jesse-williams blog. So much perfection it should be a crime.

In the bible Samuel was a gift to a childless Hannah. She had no child for many many years and she wept to God about it. God answered her prayer for a son and named him Samuel which translates to ‘Heard of God’. Hannah kept her end of the promise by dedicating Samuel to God. The reason I’m saying this is because God doesn’t always answers when we want him to but he will answer us, at his time. It is hard to stay patient and wait, because really who really wants to right?
I think the bigger picture with Japril is ultimately, they’re going to have rebuild some of the broken faith after the loss of their son. But that’s the beauty of it. In picking up all these pieces, they’re going to show each other why they fell in love with each other in the first place. Of course there’s going to be a lot of waiting from our part (and also on Japril’s part).
Some of the interviews suggest that April is going to show a more 'grittier’ side of her - which I absolutely love. There is going to be fights and more disagreements between them. And again, these tough times are going to be define them as a couple together and they will become stronger.
PS Hannah is also the name of Sarah’s newborn daughter. (double points for Sarah’s name picking/ foreshadowing ability)
Jesse and Sarah’s Instagram post though. They look like fated to be penguins.
me after 11x08: okay, maybe we’ll find out in the next episode if Japril’s baby is type 2 OI
me after 11x09: oh good! April finds out. so is baby Japril type 2 OI or not?
me after 11x10: “april, jackson. We have your test results.” *promo for next episode*
