For me it's just not logical to air a Meredith centric ep after the Showdown we got in the midseason finale. I don't care about her, never did. Hell I would even prefer a Jolex Episode. why do we have to wait till the 25th? You know what anoys me the most? Sarah Drew was giving he Little "there is alsway hope" speach but it never sounded more hopeless. Why do my favourite ships never work out?

Trust I felt the same frustration about coming back after a three month hiatus to a Meredith centric that will barely resolve any of the major cliffhangers we left off with, and then to top it off, won’t know for sure for Japril till episode 11! Heck I’m frustrated for jolex fans too, to have their cliffhanger resolved by a third person, not just any third person, but Meredith, the source of Jo’s contention. It would be maddening for me.

I still firmly believe the timing of this has everything to do with Denzel Washington and his availability. Storylines are plotted months in advance but things can be shuffled and reworked, and they do all the time. It is what it is. I have no interest in seeing a Meredith centric (this show is refocusing on Meredith, does she really need an entire episode for herself?) but from the looks of it so far it’s probably going to be a good hour of television. I don’t doubt the talent, I just wish things were more spread around.

As for Sarah Drew…I’m pretty sure that’s her party line right now, lol. Everything is pointing to divorce, it’s disheartening. But the last time I felt Iike this was right before 10x12, so there’s that, lol. I say don’t jump till the fat lady sings.
